Jourdan Brickey, LCSW

At times do you often feel like you know “better” but don't "do better?" Do you feel like you are in a pattern of being misunderstood, undervalued, and overwhelmed? Does it feel like no matter how well you are doing in one part of your life, others are chaotic? Do you find yourself asking, “Why do I keep repeating this?” or ‘“Why can’t I seem to get my life together?” Starting therapy doesn't always have to be done while in crisis. I know firsthand what it feels like to show up for myself, even when I don’t feel it. I work to support clients through developing a sense of stability and confidence, personal growth and self-esteem, overcoming intimacy issues, and working to become the best version of themselves.

Very often, we think there is a rule book to life when it actually varies from person to person; so I believe it’s important that my clients receive individualized treatment. My diverse treatment approach is person-centered and primarily includes a holistic, eclectic, and person-centered approach and value collaboration. In addition to my clinical training at NCAT, I utilize my own life experiences and cultural awareness as a 20-something Black woman to support clients in navigating pivotal life changes. I see adults and couples with a diverse range of identities.

Together, we will navigate away from survival mode or personal rock bottom towards a place of flourishing. When you’re ready to take the next step towards personal growth and transformation, you’ll know who to reach out to. I provide practical, tailored tools to support you to navigate emotions and circumstances in a supportive environment. I want my clients to feel seen, heard, and important. Don't ignore what is going on any longer, reach out TODAY. Let's get you peace!
